P. Otiosus AKA the canopy jumper.
Native to Florida and other states in the southeastern part of the country. They are part of the otiosus sub family. Otiosis group includes Phidippus regius, Phidippus californicus, and Phidippus pius. They are known to mate with p. Regius in the wild. This practice is highly discouraged in the hobby.
They are currently sub-adult- Adult and eating blue bottle flies, banded crickets, and the occasional waxworm.
